Candle pin, that is. My Mom won several tournaments back in the day. Ditto my brother and niece.

Not an easy game, for sure, but a challenge for even the best bowlers. You're right about the size and spacing differences in candlepin. The balls are much lighter, but still weigh more'n'a'bit. No holes, yo have to hold it in your hand. My hands are quite small so I always feel like a child trying to bowl. LOL.

They throw them wicked fast too! You can have a perfect aim and it still miss a pin or more because of minor variances you have zero control over.

As hard as it is to be any good, it is still fun!
