When you mentioned it, I was green enough not to know that. There is ONE duckpin alley in Colorado, and it is an arcade in a fun center. Google searches yield candlepin alleys in Colorado, but nobody has one. Boondocks in Northglenn allegedly had ONE lane, but the visit proved that was not true.
Furthermore in New England, candlepin is in decline to extent when a house closes, another house may buy the parts for repairs to their own, because nobody makes them.
Candlepin is a more difficult game, with taller, skinny pins and smaller balls. Spacing of the pins is far enough apart, a person can walk in between them. Strikes are so rare and difficult in the pro caadlepin bowling shows, anyone bowling a turkey- three strikes in a row earns $1000, and and additional $1000 for every strke after three. The record is a hambone- five strikes in a row.
Nobody has ever bowled a perfect game in candlepin.
