One of my band kids' favorite Christmas season pieces was called Russian Christmas Music, by Alfred Reed. It is patterned a little after Rimsky Korsakov's Russian Easter Overture.

When I touched ctrl V to copy the link and paste it in, my left hand and finger suddenly trembled and tears flooded my eyes in remembrance of the times we played this for our public. I have been so incredibly blessed and enriched with the gift to do this, and pass on this torch. It's greatest meaning is when it touches you with that ultimate human value.
