It's not unreasonable to ask for help in a situation like this.
In my house we have set up call/monitoring setups when someone needed extra assistance. Most of the time we have a walkie talkie call system. It helps with prioritizing the call. Yes personalizations with ringtones and text notifications are cool but a chirping from a walkie talkie alerts you differently.
But a good yell can be effective too.
