We don’t have to agree on every little thing, but we should all have the right to express our differences of opinions without fear of reprisal or penalty. Differences notwithstanding, we should all be able to agree on basic human rights, freedoms and morals that need to be protected and enforced fairly and equally under the law… laws that apply to all, including those who govern with the consent of the governed. Otherwise, the moral authority to govern is gone.
