I've been doing therapy on my hand and wrist. It's still weak and sore, but making progress. The lack of that tendon in my thumb bothers me. It just doesn't do what I want it to do and gets in my way. If I decide to do the surgery in a year or two, it will probably be another long recovery time, and I don't know if it will even work or be worth it at my age. Minor problems compared to what you are dealing with!
