This is the final movement of A Beautiful Land, arranged for a soprano soloist, sung by J. Candib of the Colorado Springs Chorale. The work was originally written for Jon Tumilson and his faithful dog, Hawkeye, whose devotion in service inspired the music.

Hawkeye lay beneath his master's coffin at the service. I was deeply moved. Deeply.
Such devotion!

It was set into motion by the World Trade Center attack of 11 September 2001, and the many examples of service, devotion, dedication, bravery, and courage that followed and continue in all walks of life.
