After all, it is mostly political discussion here and we manage to navigate those discussions without getting ugly with each other - most of the time anyway.

If folks can't find their way back to civility when arguing about sports, we'd have no hope of getting there discussing politics.

Personally, I dislike most sports only because they bore me. That people get SO angry about the results makes me detest them.
