We've had a few wild turkeys come around from time to time, but nothing like that roosting in the trees. Must be kind of amusing watching them clumbsily trying to get up into the trees!
Although, we do have a lot of LOUD frogs that croak at night! Probably because we don't have fish in our pond anymore, since we had it drained and rebuilt to seal it up better. We will restock the pond this fall.
We had a flock of Canadian geese visit yesterday. They never stay that long as they seem to be leery about the woods behind the pond. They always have one acting as the lookout while the others eat grass or whatever. This time they decided to go for a walk across our front yard and crossed the street to visit the neighbors as well. I love watching the wildlife.
Oh, and about those frogs... we have a million of them this year. I have a hummingbird feeder just outside my office window that is hanging on a shepherd's hook, and the ants like to crawl up that pole to get to the sugar water. So now those little frogs (no bigger than the end of your thumb) are sometimes crawling up that pole, too, and jumping across to the feeder so they can feast on the ants. LOL It just tickles me to watch. Love watching the hummingbirds, too.
Also, we had orioles this year, that I put out a feeder for in the backyard. They are beautiful birds, too.
