I do enjoy the nature sounds at night. The frogs are not as loud now that it has been hotter and drier for awhile. I am tempted to put a cot on the screen porch and sleep outside… if it gets a little cooler.

How wonderful to be able to enjoy such an array of wildlife! We had a spotted fawn in our garden a few days ago, peeking at us from behind the tomato plants. And then he ran toward the woods! I was worried that maybe he had lost his mama. I had previously heard what sounded like a baby calling and calling out to its mama, coming from the woods. I had already tried to save a baby rabbit that had been abandoned several weeks ago, but it got away. I just want to adopt them all! But I don’t think our dogs would allow it. LOL
