He envisions himself as having an exquisite home to do with whatever he pleases, a massive army to protect him, and high intelligence far above the average bear.

In fact, he is an ugly wreck, without a good idea in decades and he IS a national joke. Everybody knows that he is a liar and a cheat.

He is quite unsure of himself and what he is supposed to do as POTUS, aside of robbing the treasury blind to increase his bottom line.
