Hispanic people and even black people were scared to go to the ICE protests for fear of being profiled. Many people, citizens and non citizens, have been dragged off to detention centers without a chance to prove their status. Citizens were eventually released, but only after suffering pain and humiliation while waiting.

I cannot understand why anyone thinks suffering is a legitimate response to a civil misdemeanor committed mostly by people who just want a life.

Sorry; back to the point... It would be brave to show up to vote if they have to walk past ICE.
