The move comes only days before the anniversary of the murder of George Floyd in Minnesota nearly five years ago by Derek Chauvin, a white police officer. Chauvin was captured on video pressing his knee onto Floyd's neck for more than 9 minutes as Floyd lay on the pavement face-down and handcuffed. Valued Poster The No Kings Rally that is to take place on June 14th in KC and across the nation is already shaping up with a planned increase in police presence. My husband is on the safety team for the Indivisible protest group, and they are discussing these concerns and trying to work with the local police ahead of time to avoid any trouble, but some of the shops and businesses in the Plaza district (where the rally will take place) have hired their own security people who are not even well trained.

Even though he is Federal custody The President can't pardon a State felony conviction. ADMIN Those people have enough troubles in life without having ICE raid, ransack and destroy the little they have. They camp along Monument and Fountain creeks, where they have "drinking water" and bridge shelter. ICE raids them and the city accompanies, literally scooping and loading their "camps" into piles and then dump trucks to be hauled away. They do this every week, and is visible to anyone driving I-25 through the city. Most of the homeless camps are within a mile of America the Beautiful Park, and the city doesn't want them anywhere near that. They also can get into downtown easily, and merchants don't want that. The Salvation Army closed the ARC and downtown shelters, so they're no help. The Denver TSA lost their contract for managing those shelters because of two murders and a sexual assault by a TSA employee. The downgrade of US credit from AAA to A, essentially A to a C, because of the trump BBB, today crashed the US stock markets by 2%, wiping out the gains made back from the felon's walkback of his tariffs. Seems like the first ever $ trillion dollar military budget and tax cuts to reduce revenue and increase the deficit by $3.7 trillion to a possible $7.7 trillion ain't edzachary makin America great again. Call it a kind of grade inflation. Their C is an F. They don't have an F. C is the bottom. Moodys isn't done.
