" ADMIN We used to have a bright bulb named Sunshine who measured intelligence by how much money a person earned. SES wrote the same, and others exist with this opinion. Bezos and Zuckerberg et al proved they can earn lots of money. Trump proved he can inherit a fortune and lose it six times. I doubt he's a billionaire, but he claims otherwise. He claims lots of things. Ever follow a Prime truck? More times than not, the drivers speed like they're driven on a mission. In town they run red lights and take all kinds of reckless driving practices in what seems to be a hurry to get their products delivered, or work done. I see this often enough to notice a consistent pattern. Do you think Amazon hires bad drivers, or perhaps they train drivers in a way to shave minutes off delivery time? At risk of public safety because they so often fudge on traffic rules and flow? Those minutes saved across the country add up to many millions of dollars. Maybe more. Do they set a beneficial example? In my understanding, people who cut corners, cut corners, and are capable of production of shoddy work. Quality takes time I am skeptical of billionaire altruism when they leave money making for public service. Nothing in their history remotely suggests they will be good leaders. In fact, more likely the opposite. They find corners to cut, and cut them. If public safety is compromised, then it is. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony

Billionaires should not exist. Valued Poster I speak out against any of them that engage in bad behavior. Including Trump. As a Christian, I believe God is sovereign in the universe he created. Thus, I believe God either raises up leaders or allows us to raise them up into positions of power. When we raise up bad leaders, we are subject to whatever their leadership capabilities are able to implement during their tenure. Either way, there's a purpose in their leadership. Primarily to teach us about the importance of raising up good leadership. Mankind has an unfortunate history of raising up a lot of poor leadership. We never seem to learn.

ADMIN I accept people's professed opinions and positions as how they actually feel. TW has ZERO reason to lie about his opinions. Aside of me, none of you know him, and he knows that I don't have a problem with him being a center right/Republican. TW has stated multiple times that he prefers the Republican positions on many issues but does NOT like trump as a human being or as the POTUS. He voted 3rd party because he disliked Kamala Harris's positions quite a bit and couldn't vote for trump again, so chose someone else closer to his preferred viewpoints. Millions did that on both sides of the aisle. They didn't vote for their party's guy/gal, but voted third party or just didn't vote. I'm not trying to give you grief here, but you KEEP making it personal with TW instead of simply arguing issues and positions. I'd like for you to STOP doing that. Go to town on arguing about the issues, that's what the board is for -- discussion and even passionate disagreements... but attacking other people personally is just not okay. You are NOT the only one who does that so please don't think that I'm suggesting that you are.

I don't understand how people can't see that it's not just about Trump, or their absurd claims of 'TDS,' but a real push from the Right for one-party neo-fascist rule in America. But James is now mired in a flypaper of appeals whose purpose is to delay felon surrender of his money and assets. Every day trump doesn't pay, he gets out of jail free.
