The hope is that by giving in and allowing RED STATES to suffer the most at GOP hands, voters will FINALLY smarten up and realize that the GOP is NOT fighting for them, the DEMs are! IMHO, the key to this working is to NOW replace Schumer immediately and put in place someone like Bernie Sanders who isn't too timid to take a solid stance and who WILL eviserate the GOP before the midterms.
