He just finished up a project yesterday that will hopefully make it much easier keeping the weeds down in the front flower beds. I’m doing therapy six times a day now, just on the fingers and wrist to get the stiffness out… won’t start therapy on the thumb for another week. I have to be more strict on following the program now, so that is keeping me busy. Still have swelling, but hopefully getting better. Happy May Day! Look forward to hearing your report on the activities there!

Neither does practice, cooking at home, working in the yard, dodging any wayward tornadoes, or laughing at the fact NOBODY is attending the PGA Cadillac Open at the felon's Doral golf course. The many stands erected around the 18th hole have NOBODY in them. Many PGA players opted to skip this event too. Furthermore, LIV announced they will disband for the same nonsupport reasons. It's the 'thumbs up' gesture that I hope to have again! LOL I guess it's just not in my nature to use the middle finger or even the F word. I don't really get road rage, either... but there are times when I could see where some choice words or gestures might be used appropriately! These last several months/years of trump and his band of insulting, lawless goons would certainly test anyone's restraint! The problem is that we then become that which we detest, and they know that, too... thus their ploy of "TDS" blah blah blah. They are worse than little kids on a playground... bounces off me, sticks on you! The bastards... LOL

However in some parts of the world, SE Asia and eastern Europe, that gesture means "up yours!" The "OK" gesture to us means "^sshole" in Asia and Europe. Extension of the pinkie finger in SE Asia means you want a hooker. Bottom line is don't make gestures toward people. When I developed fingering games for my class piano students who did not have access to a piano outside of class for practice, you recall I was reprimanded by administration for both teaching and encouraging obscene gestures, and explaining gestures have different meanings in different parts of the world. The lesson was in response to gestures involving finger #3 and possibility kids would use it with the alibis they were practicing finger dexterity for piano. Don't make gestures toward people. Your practice of that is a good habit. That administrative stupidity rose to the national level with the felonious malignant sociopathic narcissistic chronic liar in the White House. His DoJ led grand jury indictment of Comey for a message spelt on a beach in sea shells... by somebody else, as a threat to the life of this felon is an equal exercise in stupidity. Valued Poster I had a minor knee surgery some years ago and quit on the therapy too soon; it would’ve finished healing faster had I followed orders. It was only some cartilage, so it healed fine, but you will have some pain.. SAY ‘NO’ TO WAR! RESIST!

She was initially looking at specializing in hand therapy. She hated the restricted focus so decided to use her psychology degree** also to go into general OT with a focus on the mental health side of it, creating the NH pilot program to bring mental health aspects into Medicaid's OT care here in NH where it didn't exist until she got the grants to do a pilot program with both Concord and Manchester's major hospitals. Anyway, she told me that OT hand therapy is one of the highest paid positions as well as one of the most difficult due to a majority of patients not doing their daily OT exercises because no one is watching, then blaming the OT for their lack of progress. So, I am delighted to read that you are taking them seriously and recognizing your responsibility in rehabilitation ** She originally planned to open a child psychology practice, which was always her passion before realizing why the burnout rates in it were SO HIGH. It's not the children, it's their parents who create the burnout by yanking their kids the second the doctor discusses THEIR role in their children's issues. Incredibly frustrating to know what is wrong and how to repair it but being totally unable to help the afflicted children once their parents get so angry they yank them out.

" Valued Poster when she posted a few times after you had your surgeries. She is very bright and very caring, too... a wonderful combination. You are both lucky to have each other! I am determined to get through this, and I don't expect it to be easy. Fortunately I have a fairly high tolerance for pain. I can understand how some may get addicted to the pain meds. I'm hoping the worst part is over, but who knows? There isn't much flesh between my skin and my wrist bones, and this plastic brace can be very uncomfortable, especially when there is swelling.
