I am determined to get through this, and I don't expect it to be easy. Fortunately I have a fairly high tolerance for pain. I can understand how some may get addicted to the pain meds. I'm hoping the worst part is over, but who knows? There isn't much flesh between my skin and my wrist bones, and this plastic brace can be very uncomfortable, especially when there is swelling.
