Well, first off, let's stick to the 60's and the Viet Nam War. 300,000 Black's served, a large percentage of them in combat. I suppose many of them were determined not to be held down and/or held back from succeeding in life, in spite of the circumstances of the times. Here are three of them. I salute them and applaud them and every single one of the 300,000 who did serve with honor and courage...many of them sacrificing all as well.
