but the hawk has a white head - could have dark feathers at the crown but since I don't have an aerial view...don't know. Still can't talk my son into letting me use the drone.

There are four hawks hunting in our area this morning...a few more off in the distance a bit over a corn field so not worried when they stay over near the corn

I am not fast enough with my phone video thingy to catch them when they swoop over my yard. The one I got the pic of just happened to perch up in top of the tree.

I just really don't want any of them to be goshawk's...which we do get here but usually don't notice them until later in the fall
