...Many years ago my wife and I participated in several bowling leagues. My wife was very good and became a professional for a while as well as winning several state championships, etc.

Anyway, we got a lot of trophies, pins, patches, and plaques which usually did not hang around long or were stashed away in the attic in a box. We visited another bowling couple one time and were amazed to find that they had converted their garage into a den/trophy room. They had shelves and shelves of old bowling league trophies. I guess I was a little less than impressed. I just considered it wasted space.
