AA When I'm here in the west country, I can easily tell the difference, between the 2kw Nautel & 4kw Harris - so I think a lift to 10kw, would help quite a bit. (The different aerial, may also be a factor) Obviously, the more power the better - but of course, there is OFCOM & costs to consider.
When I'm at home in west Suffolk, the difference, is minimal. Reduce BBC5 power on 597khtz, would help in this & other areas

I think Peter's logic, of achieving something first - then announce it, makes a lot of sense. (though not always possible, when other groups are involved)
