Maybe not enough people DXs around these days so no-one notices it any more?
I used to love DXing, my first catch was hearing Capital Radio from London on 95.8, I didn't know anything about propagation and thought my radio was just working well.
These days it is easy to tell when there is a lift on as the FM band becomes alive with different genres of music and songs that stick out from the bland playlists that UK radio stations play. I often hear songs that I have to use shazam or google to find out who they are.
As far as UK DX the thought of picking up Capital Heart or Greatest Hits just doesn't give me the same buzz as it did years ago.
Getting back on topic I am too young to remember RNI on FM, but often wondered how far Caroline would have got on FM.
