That sounds like a similar fault to the previous one a few months ago, one of the RF output modules caused that one. At least it will not be freezing cold for Alan at Orford this time Previous Message

The transmitter has been causing interference all up the East coast from Ipswich to Southend on Sea and beyond."
Someone asked him what the problem was, replied at 1705:
"It was some kind of arching affecting the LF end of MW"
They were back on the air when he posted that presumably having switched to the 2.5kw Nautel. Speculation in the thread as to the technical nature of the problem. Previous Message

It looks to me from the signal strength, the Nautel is now being used,but on it's full power of 2.5kw.
