Unlike the other mast built at sea in early summer 1973 which was built by Norman, Robin, Dick and co. It came down in October 1st nearly 50 years ago.
I would think, building on board the Mi Amigo: At sea - not in a harbour, the Transmitting mast in 1973 - that lasted long after the ship sank in 1980.
That must have been a hard & brave job.
Does anyone know WHO did it? This part of the Caroline story, has never been described in any detail.....
