Well, I am not entirely sure why it was an "unfair comment", but for the sake of accuracy and knowing from reading your books that you are such a stickler for accuracy
,here is a slight amendment;
The other mast was completed at sea in early summer 1973 by Norman, Robin, Dick and co. It came down in October 1st nearly 50 years ago. (which it did)
