The first few of these records were written and produced by Beatles press officer Tony Barrow, while George Martin produced the 1966 and 1967 efforts and Kenny Everett produced the 1968 and 1969 records.
It was teamwork by brilliant people, from George Martin and Dick James to Brian Epstein and Freda Kelly. It's worth reading about Freda, who was employed by Brian Epstein in 1962 and worked for the office after he died, until 1972. She took over as fan club president from Roberta Brown. I still have all the fan club publications and a couple of personal letters from her. Freda is now 78.

I think it all helps to show, just one of the unique things about the Beatles. What other group, has ever done anything like that?
