Hans: Caroline used 1187Khz or 253 metres when it first returned to the air with tests in the Autumn of 1972. This was the same channel used up to when it was towed away in 1968. When the mast collapsed, they were heard as Radio 199 but reverted to 1187 later using the so called 'Micky Mouse Mast'
199 was a dreadful channel making listening at night very difficult. Previous Message
Sounds good, thanks!
When the Mi Amigo started broadcasting again in 1972 199 was used, not 259. Could this have been from No. 32, presumably still tuned to 199? Previous Message
Eventually serial number 32 arrived on the Mi Amigo.
