I get the point you are making Dave. It’s all about the type of “album artist” that fits in the Caroline format. Some will argue that Kylie Minogue was played on the poor Laser imitation Caroline 558 days, but would she be an artist that you would expect to hear on Caroline over the last 25 years then the answer must be no. When I tune to 648 I don’t expect to hear Kylie or Tony Christie and that’s why I listen. I have raised it before that it is all about professional radio discipline and understanding of the station format. Maybe some of the new presenters need a refresher.
