Good to see you, Kev. In your opinion, what can be done to ensure Black kids become woke? I’m seeing African-American kids in the schools exhibit behaviors that are antithetical to Black liberation and progress.
They seem to have imbibed the worst-case lumpen proletariat characteristics of the streets. Of course, their parents are the culprits, for one. I noticed in Freedom School, this summer, that most of the “woke” kids were those who had strong parents. Meanwhile, there were still some who seemed to gravitate toward the don’t-care attitudes of street culture.
Sure, we have the talented tenth, but what about the rest?
I recently noticed a teacher promulgate scientific thinking in his classes; a kind of teaching that steers kids to the tenets of the scientific method within their normal day-to-day influences and activities.
Any suggestions, anyone? We need help… . The self-destructive behavior is pervasive.

Modern music and media doesn’t portray black people in positive lights even when we try to get ahead some do but forget who they are and assimilate with whiteness.
It’s about what is taught at home and in school the curriculum favors white people in a positive light and that’s it just white history.
Everything black media is negative from vh1, bet,
Tyler perry(COON). Look at who young black people have as role models just athletes and rappers but even those don’t have positive connotations.
It’s about the expectation that schools will educate our children but they don’t allocate funding, hire black teachers or adapt policies or curriculum to modern society.
