By the way sir, do you know that Huey P Newton's father was "White" (photo below of Huey with his parents)? His father's name was Walter Newton and his mum's Armelia Johnson. Now, can you breathe, Sir? Hello, are you still there? Did you pass out, sir? hahahahahahaha. I've never knew Newton's father was White until last night . Even with Bob Marley, to this day many folks don't know that Marley's father was White. LOL
The stupid thing in my opinion was that the Black guerilla family was having a beef with the BPP which is an organization that they themselves have derived from. Except the Panthers were out in the streets and the Black guerilla family members were stuck in Jail, but their programs were pretty much the same.
Agreed, Bob Moses was the first African American from Harlem(NY) to challenge white violence in some southern county, filing assault charges against his attacker. He also pushed for the SNCC to engage in a "tactical nonviolence," he was the main organizer of a project, which was intended to achieve widespread voter registration of blacks in Mississippi. And of course Stokely will always be remembered as a Pan-African revolutionary who fondly popularized the slogan "Black Power". A slogan that annoyed Kris.
I'd like to add two more Panthers on the list of my favorites which I forgot to mention yesterday,..and these are Bunchy Carter and John Huggins, both were assassinated.
