With a world that is not my home I meant life on earth is temporary and that my true and eternal home is in the afterlife, typically heaven since this place we're in has been ruined by Neanderthals, those archaic humans. It has nothing to do with being or not being an activist, plus what do you know about me?? How do you know I am not an activist? What if I'm an activist about those you don't care about? I bet you never knew Afro-Arabs existed for your entire 70 years of life until you came to this board. Just trying to keep the discussion academic.
""""when he exhibited similar insensitive behavior concerning African American youths shooting each other in Chicago, you and I both posted retorts. I guess when the shoes on the other foot, it's a different story.""""
As if I was lying? As if its not true, as if AA do not shooting each other by the droves in broad daylight in Chicago. I wasn't exhibiting an insensitive behavior, I found the whole situation not fair to not criticize since AAs kill each in a country that is and has been hostile to them all from the begining,.. in fact it shows how I care about the problem. I remember Les ending up compromising with this subject a few days later. But your EVIl being switched it to another direction and gave it another flavor to trying to make me look bad and perhaps anti-Black American, and I remember very well how I schooled you on this and put you right back on your "lift chair",..and yet you pretend to be an activist and pro-black, but you refuse to hear someone pointing at this "uncontrolled" violence(at that time being) often linked to factors like gang activities, lack of education and high rates of gun violence that is blatantly leading the community to a mini-genocide. When the news said the risk of firearm homicide is significantly higher in Chicago than the risk of combat death for soldiers in the war zones, I bet your fake activism was out of order, the only activisim you could do was to post some retorts to theone.
Also I remember the first time you posted here on LLC, I could feel/read your hostility towards me in your replies simply because you found out I was Moroccan from a Muslim country, later on for some reason I've noticed how quickly you covered your face with a decorative mask temporarily. Now you dropped that mask.
I'll get back to you when your opinion matters.

Yes Les, I have pointed out Arab and Palestinian racism but only as part of my argument that all ethnicities, races and religions have a racist faction. The Palestinians are no different.
Tell me Les, if you were speaking at a rally against Palestinian genocide, would you find it important to bring up the topic of Palestinian racism? I don't think so; You'd be run out of there very quickly. Poor timing and irrelevant!!! That is my point.
Or what if you were speaking with a group of African Americans on the slave trade? Would you find it necessary to bring up the irrelevant point that African leaders once helped the captors? Of course not. Poor timing and irrelevant again!
Further les, I find it amusing that you show no irritation when theone remarks on Arab racism, but years ago, when he exhibited similar insensitive behavior concerning African American youths shooting each other in Chicago, you and I both posted retorts. I guess when the shoes on the other foot, it's a different story.
One more point: theone's post entitled, "Here is why this is not my home" speaks volumes on the state of his mind. He has given up; he is broken, frustrated and angry. He complains and does nothing. He's dropped out.
I recall years ago going to a planning committee meeting during the Polish Solidarnosc years. The meeting took place at a Polish hall deep in the heart of the Milwaukee Polish community. I had recalled seeing that very same hall while marching in the fight for integration years before. I'll bet some of the Poles that threw feces on us while marching were now in that same room where we were organizing for Solidarnosc. Was I bitter like theone is now? Nope. It was an opportunity to build the movement, not hurt it more. That's what activists do.
theone's not an activist; he is a bitter armchair cynic in a world that is not his home.

Les, here is my reply to Maestro on this subject:
"""And I wasn't happy to read that there are prominent "Muslim" figures across the world who have publicly voiced support for Israel include Irshad Manji, Salim Mansur, Enes Kanter, Abdurrahman Wahid, Reza Pahlavi, Mithal al-Alusi, Kasim Hafeez, Abdullah Saad Al-Hadlaq, Zuhdi Jasser, Asra Nomani, and Khaleel Mohammed. This is intriguing when you see Jewish ppl fighting for the Palestinians.
I didn't know before that "Muslim Zionism" exist. Now of course there are thousands of Muslims who share the same views as those prominent Jewish figures who are calling on the United Nations and world leaders to impose sanctions on Israel over the genocide in Gaza,..but then you also have these "immoral" Muslims who are of the same mind with Netanyahu, his cabinet, and all the bigoted Ashkenazi Zionists in Israel.""""
Les, can you please tell me in which paragraph above you see that I was trying to justify the genocide against Palestinians?? Nada!! Plus he's the one who replied to my post on Israel here, although he kept saying to me to ignore his Israeli posts which doesn't make sense coz when you post something/anything on this board you mean you want to engage in a conversation, share something of value to prompt "responses". So you should expect questions to be asked, you should expect "relatable" observations when you post a subject, etc.., then its up to the ppl to answer your post or ignore them. How about you ignoring my responses to your posts??
Not so clever, his "brain" is starting to show its true colors.
By the way, I give him(GM)credit on how he changed his views on Arabs especially the ones who enslaved the indigenous darkies in that part of the world, because when I first started posting on this board in 2006 I found him to be extremely "Anti-Islam" and spoke crap about Muslims, and he didn't give a damn about Palestinians just a few years before Oct 7th attacks. Although Palestinians have extremely suffered in the past under Ariel Sharon's reign where thousands were killed and massacred he was still an anti-muslim dude.
I believe what made him "unfeigned" today to the Palestinian cause all of a sudden, is his deep hatred of Aipac, Zionists, European Jews and also the "New Yorker" Jews in general. As for me he knows I'm not pro-Israeli nor pro-Palestinian, and I hope he understands that I am NOT pro-genocide either, and he should stop implying this before I forceful hit with a closed fist comes down on his face. LOL!!.
