Ok, Mr G, I backtrack.
I thought in some cases a genocide has roots in a declaration of war. The reason I asked is because unlike the genocide of Jews in Germany, the genocide in Gaza "stemmed" from the declaration of war by Hamas in Oct 7th. Now in Germany the genocide of Jews wasn't based on a declaration of war done by a bunch of armed German Jews in Berlin, it was a direct local assault by the Nazis on the Jewish communities because of their ethnic or religion.
Plus, wars(like genocides) often lead to the devastating loss of civilian life, massive displacement, and violations of human rights. Mr G, maybe I need help but thats how I see it. PPl die either way..., Previous Message
