Good find, Maestro. I have to withdraw on this hospital thing, but woefully despite all the Soviets help during those 5 years it is incredibly disheartening to offer extensive support, time, or resources, only to see "no improvement" in Cuba's situation. I mean(see photo below) almost every single public wall in Cuba is either not sanitary or ruined. Holes in every city streets and on the roads of Cuba, homes literally falling apart, and poverty is running rampant all over the Island,... Wonder where that 4 billion dollars "annual" help from the Soviets go. FYI, Cuba has been going through some infrastructure degradation even when the Soviets were helping. Hair-raising!!! However I am mostly aware that Venezuela became Cuba's most critical financial supporter in the post-Soviet era, particularly from early 90's to mid 2010's. I think Venezuela's support of Cuba was much larger than the Soviet aid in general.
