The last time Trump wanted to bomb Iran, Israel said don't do it. Iran hit Israel hard with missiles during the last bombing. Israel's defense system failed.

I don't get this, unless you're making a clear distinction between Israel & Netanyahu. Maybe there were those in Israel advising against it, but Netanyahu was urging the attack on Iran. In fact, Netanyahu has been urging an attack on Iran from his days as a diplomat in the US, pretty much as he was advocating for the invasion of Iraq, claiming Hussein had WMDs etc etc.
One of the fallouts between Netanyahu & President Obama was because Barack refused to go along with Netanyahu's obsession with Iran.

Don't forget during Netanyahu's visit to the White House a couple days ago, he urged Trump to attack Iran EVEN as Trump was reluctant to do so, and continues to be reluctant to attack Iran - his MAGA base is against it!
(nb: there are videos of Netanyahu urging Iran to be attacked to destroy their nuclear weapons capability)

And yes, some of Iran's weapons broke through Israel's Iron dome and inflicted more damage than expected. At the time Israel underplayed the damage but they did break through.
As for now, I suspect Iran is all talk with little muscle. That's my gut feeling!

Yes, it's quite possible that Iran has an undisclosed nuclear capability, but they know if they use it on the U.S. there would be no more Iran.

Meanwhile, why is there no response from Russia on this issue? Iran is supposed to be a Russian ally. I'd have to say it's because Trump is a Russian asset.

Exactly, and the same with Cuba, although Cuba was a crucial cold war ally of the Soviet Union, Russia did nothing to help Cuba from the U.S embargo against Cuba since 1962 all the way to the USSR's dissolution in 1991.

But G, historically I think Venezuela has been a crucial ally to Cuba, providing massive economic support, particularly through heavily subsidized oil shipments (kinda like 50% of Cuba's needs) in exchange for Cuban medical and intelligence personnel. However, this lifeline has significantly decreased due to Venezuela's own economic crisis and recent U.S. actions.

As for Russia, yes, it did provide some weapons to Cuba to help Africans fight in Angola, Mozambique and probably Namibia since obviously Russia wanted a piece of the African cake too. And guess what? Angola and Mozambique both became close allies of the Soviet Union after gaining independence from Portugal in 1975, functioning as "Marxist-Leninist states" within the Soviet sphere of influence during the cold war. And thats exactly what the Russian KRIS was looking for. Russia doesn't do nothing for free!! How come Russia did not help Cuba to build its infrastructure since the U.S embargo in 1962???? What kind of fuucking friendship is that? Do you see how Cuba's streets look like?? They look like shitholes. Now look at the type of infrastructures the Western countries and the United States have helped build for the Abdulites in the Middle-east, look at DUBAII for example, who you think helped build those buildings in Dubaii?? How come Russia didn't make any threats against Israel when Netanyahu bombed its Iranian ally recently?? See when you bomb U.S allies, the United states or the West would respond immediately no matter what? How come the streets of Moscow look soo great and clean and well built in comparison to the streets of the beloved Cuban ally? How come the streets and buildings of Dubaii look like NYC or look even better and cleaner than NY's streets?? I can't find or name one single place that the Russians or Soviets have built in Africa or the Middle-east or the Caribbeans or Latin America, not one place.

And even if there is some profits the nature of these profits is complex, with some allies facing logistical, financial, and geopolitical challenges. And lets be clear on this, when I said Cuba looks like a shiithole I didn't mean to sound like Trumpkkk or denigrate Cuba but rather I was pointing out my finger at the Russian "incompetence" to help build good infrastuctures in their allied countries outside of the old soviet union, like Cuba for example.

China in this context is doing much better than Russia with its African allies, China has established comprehensive "strategic partnerships" with the entire continent, and there are several countries in Africa where China has built physical assets like roads, railways, bridges, and power grids, great stuff indeed,.. also built institutions that maintain health, education, and security standards. Russia takes from you but don't give you shit in return, except some AK's-47, Russia just loves you when you're a socialist or communist regime like her, thats it. And like I said why does Dubaii look like NYC as a western ally and Havana will never look like Moscow as a Russian/former Soviet ally??? Good find, Maestro. I have to withdraw on this hospital thing, but woefully despite all the Soviets help during those 5 years it is incredibly disheartening to offer extensive support, time, or resources, only to see "no improvement" in Cuba's situation. I mean(see photo below) almost every single public wall in Cuba is either not sanitary or ruined. Holes in every city streets and on the roads of Cuba, homes literally falling apart, and poverty is running rampant all over the Island,... Wonder where that 4 billion dollars "annual" help from the Soviets go. FYI, Cuba has been going through some infrastructure degradation even when the Soviets were helping. Hair-raising!!!

However I am mostly aware that Venezuela became Cuba's most critical financial supporter in the post-Soviet era, particularly from early 90's to mid 2010's. I think Venezuela's support of Cuba was much larger than the Soviet aid in general.
