I'm pretty sure I know of Dr Conrad Worrill's legacy, especially as it relates to the Afrocentric movement, at least the New York city part of it..
Also pretty sure he's been interviewed on the Imhotep Gary Byrd Show on AM radio station WLIB, in New York City - mostly during the 1990s, and relating the Million Man March etc.
Man, during that period WLIB used to host & interview folks like Dr Clarke, Prof. Jeffries, Dr Tony Martin, Dr Ben, Prof Smalls, Dr Ivan Van Sertrima etc etc.
Quite a heady period of time, especially for those of us from the Caribbean studying in NY.
So yes, i'm well aware of Dr Conrad Worrill. I think he's one of the characters attacked in Mary Lefkowitz's anti-Afrocentric book, 'Not Out of Africa'. Maybe not referenced by name but lumped with other Afrocentric scholars in Lefkowitz's hateful & white supremacist book.
Glad to know his brother is continuing his work, legacy and mission, and is accomplished in his own right. Props!
