Fascism Devours Another Country

I't will be interesting seeing the outcome of Tanzania's Wednesday presidential election.

The suspense is not who wins because we already know that result.

The suspense is to what extent authoritarian strong woman President Samia Suluhu Hassan, the first East African female president, will go to insure victory. She has already either killed off or jailed all opposition candidates. Will she know rig the vote, too?

Trump and the gang are joyous over her grip on Tanzania, once regarded as the model of democracy for all of East Africa. All Western financial institutions can breathe easy these days. Hassan has no problem continuing to play ball with them.

And the struggle continues!

On one hand is good that Tanzania elected its first "female" president although Samia Suluhu Hassan, assumed office in 2021, not recently, but her presidency has been a significant development.

I know Ethiopia and Liberia predates Tanzania in electing a female president. Also Namibia elected its first female president this year in March 2025(see article below).

And yes, Africa's problems with its leaders has not changed. Africa's leaders prioritize personal gain over national development. These native leaders will always make sure Africa remains rich for the West and poor for Africans, their own peeps. They would kill, jail, beat anyone who tries to change this old tradition.

Yes, i know that she was not the first East African female president. I made an error in my wording. She was the first female president of the EAST AFRICAN NATION- Tanzania.

The usual African farce!
It's all about holding on to power because after 400 yrs of African inferiorization, leaving office immediately makes you just another niggger - at least to the rest of the WEstern world; the world you spent your time in office kissing their arses!

Or maybe she's learning from Paul Kagame of Rwanda, another western puppet, shutting down democracy & free speech in his country.

But let's not just point out the African scumbags who refuse to give up power, Right here in America we have Black faces elected.to office who refuse to make way for younger aspirants. You have Eleanor Holmes Norton (i use to like) refusing to give up her DC congressional seat even though she's 88 (the oldest member!!), is suffering from early dimentia, and can hardly walk. How selfish is that shit?

I know some white politicians also do that shit but the risk & consequences for the Black community is much more harmful.
We have dirt bags like Rep. James Clyburn who's been in office for donkey years yet his community remains one of the poorest in the US etc.
And then Charlie Rangel, who was in office for decades, refused to step down even as Harlem remained mired in poverty - the sucka helped gentrified Harlem etc etc. Such a dirty bitch!

Like I said earlier, its all African/Black farce!

That's off my chest. Hallelujah!!

Thats why I've been saying all along that there are uncle toms inside and outside the empire. Politically the West treats its local/native minorities the same way it treats Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Arabs world. And guess who are at the bottom of the economy in these 4 continents mentioned above? Africa. And also guess which ones are at the bottom of the economy in ALL of the minority diasporas born in the West? The Black ones.

Meanwhile all hell is breaking loose in Dar Es Salaam. Several vehicles, a gas station, and police stations were set ablaze by protesters.

The internet is shutdown, as are colleges and universities.

The struggle continues.
