who simply lack gratitude, the ability to be content even when their needs are met, and certainly no room for appreciating the success or happiness of others. Nothing would change that because so many character defects are linked to each other, ingratitude, jealousy, selfishness, all leading to their own depravity. There is a cure, a choice to move on positively, but at some point we all become slaves to our own passions, and if they’re negative, they can be our complete undoing.
