The Wave of Humanity
The winds will change
and with them do
our pause to cause
to see them through
We love to usher rains from above
our loves, our likes, and brief abroves
Yet we know not when these gifts will change
from sunny days to torrential rains
And where our wonder, nay our applause
to thank the heavens, God's only cause
It's high above our minds and view
But truly, it's hearts that save a few.
