He suggested the same to my Dad I recall who was then probably in his early sixties and fine! My mother was in there and I didn’t like it at all. I witnessed an employee being very disrespectful to a resident. My mother was only about 60 when she moved in, she didn’t seem to mind it there.
She did say though that if my Dad came in through the front door she’d be straight out the back door! Which was very funny at the time. They had been apart for 10 years or more.
I wasn’t sure about that doctor after that.
