Whites Marine is long gone & a modern Housing Estate built on the land and its called 'Whites Gardens'.
Reyrolles is also gone and Housing estates built on the land. Their Sports Field is still there though, used by Hebburn Town Football Club.
Reyrolles were a fantastic employer and over 120,000 people from all around the area worked there.
The Quay Post Office is also long gone .
Did you see the compliments saying what a beautiful young girl you were in those days?
