Good luck Brian. I have just had an eye operation the kind of which is very common. 5 weeks ago I had a cataract removed and lens replacement inserted. Ten years ago I had a similar op. on my other eye. In no way did these ops compare with what you will have but I have confidence you are in good hands. The skill of these surgeons is amazing.
