Thanks George, I have been told recovery is between 4-6 weeks so if the eye is stable I'm going to ask for the surgery in the new year, the surgery is unlikely to restore my sight to what it was in that eyebut as long as it isn't worse I can live with that.
So I'm doing as much as I can at the allotment for the new year, we've planted a fair bit of winter veg, onions, shallots and garlic are in, and took
delivery of a couple of ton of manure on Friday gone. I'll be restricted during recovery so will keep busy now and prepare as much as I can.
