On the contrary, Sheila. When I was in the engineering industry, if someone told lies on their CV, or during the interview, that was grounds for instant dismissal, and NO Union could defend it.
A key question was always "Do you have any existing medical condition, that would prevent you from carrying out your duties within our company?"
