It’s a fledgling industry because of regulations etc.
The boats don’t look nice as yet and the equipment that has to be installed after hull build causes problems.
What was being said that once the printing machine is in place you only need bags of the materials to be used be it forms of plastic or metal.
We know that small things can be made using 3D printing.
A while back there was an item saying that replacement car parts may someday be made using 3D printing locally rather than having to be sent from say Germany.
In a car restoration programme 3D printing was used for even small items like the plugs to hold the door panels to the doors.
The plugs no longer made after 40 years.
We know that guns can and are made using 3D printing and they work. What comes next!
