Where was that taken, very familiar to me but where in Harrogate.

I think they are actually going to leave Harrogate as they look fresh and shoe spotless.

My first thought it’s Knaresborough Road more than Leeds Road but new housing could hide those houses.

I will try to find that spot and do a as now photo but don’t hold your breath. Might have go to Harrogate library for info.

Looking at the chap on the left reminds me of the trousers worn back then from family photos.

The waist band pre WW2 tended to be very high, sort of half way up the chest, no hipsters! And baggy.

The Mayor very old style. Ellen’s outfit I seem to remember my mother wearing clothes of same material.
