You reminded me of talking to Americans and trying to tell them my name. They thought I was saying Jockey 😂 I really did have to say it the way they would say it.
My husband asked which road to Maryland at a service station. They just couldn’t understand him! It wasn’t until he remembered how they pronounced it that they did.
The amount of American tv and film we’re exposed to helps I guess, but really 😄
