Much as I detest Keir Starmer, I think it’s a bit rich to accuse him of destroying our so-called special relationship with the US. That ceased in 1956 with the Suez Crisis, when the US forced Britain to withdraw from Egypt (and probably led to our refusal to get involved in Vietnam.
