AJG, Bells was started by Thomas Bell a grocer hear the central station and he wanted to call it Bells Royal Flour but after the king died Royal was a no-go so he took BE from Bells and RO from royal and hyphenated the two to get Be-Ro ! You are right ! Clever lot us Geordies
