Wow! Smokey Joe Musgrove. Joe the Mush was a foreman at Noble and Lund in the big fitting shop. He referred to everyone as "Hey - Ye"!
Joe and some other bloke (may have been Johnny Rankin), held The Barnesbury CC tandem record in 1937. What a coincidence that he should appear on this forum. Those who worked for him - will never forget him. "Hey - Ye Ye"- "Naa - Not Ye" --- "YE"! This meant TROUBLE.
