As Sheila said domestic staff in hospitals but also care homes generally come from overseas. Without them the NHS and care sector would grind to a halt. Pay needs to be realistic to get people off benefits. When companies are making record profits but their staff need tax credits to live means the system is broken. We need to bring the fat cats in line as at the moment we are subsidising their staff.
